Tailwinds Psychology

Welcome to Tailwinds, where our team is dedicated to making connections to mental health services as frictionless as possible! We love serving college students, including nontraditional, first-generation, and international students. We provide expert care for neurodivergence, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, substance abuse, and so much more. Here's what's on the menu:

•Virtual and in-person therapy for adults, kids, teens, couples, and families
•Virtual psychiatry services for adults, kids, and teens
•Testing services, including neuropsych, ADHD, ASD, learning disabilities, giftedness, psychiatric concerns, academic accommodations, and presurgical evaluations for bariatric surgery and pain management procedures. Intake and feedback sessions can be virtual; the testing day is typically conducted in person. Turnaround time for feedback sessions is also within two weeks, which is especially helpful for students who needed accommodations yesterday
•Virtual and in-person executive functioning coaching - a great practical adjunct to therapy for neurodivergent students!
•In-person Alpha-Stim therapy for students who could use some help settling their nervous system/addressing physiological symptoms of anxiety
•In-person virtual reality therapy for students who could benefit from exposure therapy for some of those harder-to-reach phobias

We have immediate openings for all services, including testing! Appointments are easily bookable online with no contact forms or phone tag required - a helpful feature for students who needs a connection ASAP.

We are in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and United PPOs - while we do not yet offer sliding scale services, students who are teachers or first-responders may qualify for our Local Heroes Program, which reduces therapy and assessment self-pay rates to $100/therapy session and $500/comprehensive evaluation.
