Are you ready to make positive and lasting changes? You are definitely more than just your problems, but sometimes our problems get so big they are all we can see. When you are in my office you are seen and treated as a whole person with both strengths and struggles. I believe that therapy works best when it happens in the safety of a trusting, supportive, and collaborative relationship. My style can be best described as flexible as my interventions are based on the unique needs of my clients. I have experience working with trauma, childhood abuse, anxiety, depression, relationships, anger, stress management, transition issues, social awkwardness, grief, and loss. I see adolescents and adults in my practice and am able to offer individual therapy.
PHILOSOPHY I believe meaningful connections are at the center of the human experience. We are social beings that thrive when we feel accepted, connected, and loved. These feelings can give us the confidence to show up in the world as our authentic selves and embrace our uniqueness. When we have a deeper understanding of ourselves and engage in unconditional self-acceptance, we gain a greater capacity to have fulfilling relationships. APPROACH My clients find my style humorous and compassionate as well as engaging and down-to-earth. My approach is holistic, engaging in all aspects of your wellness, with consideration for your mind, body, spirit, and heart. Thinking of my client’s needs, I use an eclectic and integrative method, pulling from traditional, innovative, and evidence-based techniques. Some of the modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. My objective is to help my clients feel better as soon as possible, so I maintain a Solutions-Focused framework, offering direct feedback, actionable steps, and strategies to cope with current stressors. I am committed to having a therapeutic lens that is culturally sensitive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, health at every size acceptance, and social justice oriented. My ultimate goal is to assist you in identifying your unique gifts and using them to actualize your best self in the world.

I work with women and athletes who are struggling with overwhelming anxiety. Sometimes this includes issues with relationships, eating issues, sports performance, spirituality, self esteem, codependency, life transitions, and grief. You may be feeling not good enough, stuck in a toxic relationship, uncomfortable asking for help, scared of conflict, intimidated, taken advantage of. You can achieve, tough it out, and make other people happy, but aren’t really happy yourself. Usually my clients will come to me wanting relief from symptoms, and then the work tends to lean toward self-understanding and awareness. While this kind of deeper change takes time, I believe it is the most lasting long-term. I'm a psychoanalytic/psychodynamic therapist, attachment-based, and person-centered. My practice is an LGBTQ+ safe space. I also welcome faith discussion and provide Christian counseling. I'm a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor for addressing issues about eating and body image. I work with women and highly sensitive people who are struggling with anxiety and specifically want to understand how their family and upbringing have affected them so that they can grow out of those patterns. Sometimes this can be setting better boundaries, creating closer relationships, or receiving brainspotting to heal from childhood attachment trauma/emotional neglect.

We believe that all of us are looking for a sense of fulfillment and well-being in our lives. We experience this well-being as a sense of ease, unrestricted flow of life energy. However, when negative events happen and we perceive ourselves as broken, or not safe, we constrict the flow of well-being, resulting in feelings of pain, fear, anger, grief... The Process Model of therapy helps us to identify our constrictions and release them, allowing our life energy to flow freely again, bringing the sense of relief and re-connection to self, others, and the world around us. Coming into a counseling session is much like going on a tour to explore yourself: how you got where you are today, what you can do to set yourself free, what you can do to change your life. Our counselors are much like guides employed to walk with you on this journey of self-discovery; they invite you to look deeper beyond the story, stay in the present moment and keep the focus on yourself. They are trained to respect, trust, and follow your process into and through your unresolved issues, without judgment or agenda. We are a non-profit and charitable organization incorporated in the state of California since 1982, with a mission to train pre-licenced professionals in the skill and art of psychotherapy. We have many clinicians available to work around your schedule and price range. We are committed to offer therapy to people of all means and backgrounds, and welcome diversity in all its forms.

I am a Marriage & Family Therapist who uses a strength-based approach rooted in authenticity, compassion, and understanding. I know firsthand how hard it can be to find the right therapist, especially while juggling the demands of college life. My goal is to create a space that feels comfortable and supportive from the very beginning. I work with students who are navigating stress, relationships, family dynamics, or just the everyday challenges that come with balancing school and life. Together, we’ll focus on building coping skills, processing what feels overwhelming, and finding healthier ways to manage stress and relationships. My approach is adaptable and down-to-earth. I want therapy to feel like it truly fits you and your unique needs. I ground my work in compassion, collaboration, and curiosity, and I feel fortunate to walk alongside students as they navigate challenges and move toward meaningful change. I offer flexible scheduling, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. I see clients both in-person in Campbell, CA and via telehealth throughout California. I’m a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee at Yes to Therapy, working under licensed clinical supervisor Victoria Campbell, LMFT. Fees & Insurance: We offer a sliding scale to make therapy more accessible, and we accept certain insurances.

There is always HOPE! When you walk out of my office my hope is that you leave with tangible skills, suggestions and a plan to try in real life. While the therapy session is a time of opening up and finding some answers, the real work is done out side of your sessions! My aim is that you walk out feeling supported, equipped and hopeful that change is possible. I never want people to feel stuck in therapy either, my goal is to work with you until you feel ready to tackle life on your own, I feel it's my job to work myself out of a job :) I always remain available after we've completed therapy for check in's or for email exchanges, but I want you to start therapy with the end goal in mind!!!! Please reach out to discuss your particular needs.
If you’re a student feeling overwhelmed by balancing academics, relationships, family expectations, and figuring out who you are, you’re not alone. I work with students who tend to keep it all together on the outside but feel anxious, stuck, or burnt out inside. You might be a deep feeler or an overthinker, someone who struggles with saying “no” or feels the weight of trying to please everyone. Maybe you’re navigating cultural or family expectations that clash with what you want for yourself. In our work together, we’ll slow down and create space for you to explore what you’re feeling in your mind and body. I’ll help you build tools to manage stress, set healthy boundaries, and feel more at ease in your own skin—without judgment or pressure. My approach is gentle, supportive, and focused on helping you connect with your values so you can make choices that feel right for you.
