I work with people who are looking to embark on a process of intentional healing, self understanding, growth and actualization. I'm here to support you if you are struggling with anxiety, depression, identity issues, interpersonal challenges, difficulties with motivation and focus, healing of trauma, and/or wrestling with life's big questions. Therapy, to me, is a highly collaborative process. You are driving the bus and deciding where to go, and I am here to help you navigate through a process of deep listening, reflection, and psychoeducation. Sessions often focus on expressing emotions, needs, desires and boundaries effectively. We can also explore trauma healing, life goals, passions or spiritual beliefs. Examining communication skills and relationship dynamics helps to strengthen interpersonal connections. We can do talk therapy, or add in creativity, play, art making, music and/or movement! Please reach out if you think we would be a good match and we can discuss what it might look like to work together.

Are you seemingly okay on the outside, but uncomfortable and anxious underneath? Do relationships with family, friends, or romantic partners feel stressful? Perhaps you are struggling to figure out your path in college or after graduation? It’s really hard to navigate relationships and decisions for yourself now, for the first time! I believe college and your 20s are the most important time where you can shape your future by learning about yourself. Often, you grow up not really knowing you are and who you want to be, and feel lost when you try to figure this out. I’d love to support you as you navigate this time by really listening and understanding you, providing non-judgmental guidance and empathy, and asking you helpful questions. I focus on issues with life transitions (yes college and graduation), self esteem, anxiety, interpersonal conflict and communication, dating, perfectionism, break-ups, and stress. Common goals include reducing anxiety, finding a suitable partner, building connection, stronger communication, creating healthy boundaries, finding purpose/career, managing life transitions, and increasing coping skills and confidence. My clients don't fill empty spots! This is my passion and you are so important to me; I remember details and strategize between sessions ensuring you receive the best care in return for your commitment to therapy.

Shoreline Wellness Center places a focus on talk therapy (psychotherapy) to help patients better manage the stress they encounter in their daily life. Working with a therapist has many benefits, such as coping with feelings, facing and solving problems, or changing behavioral patterns that are leading to some of your symptoms. In therapy, we don’t just talk about problems. The main goal is to develop a reasonable and doable solution. Sometimes you may have “homework” to complete for your therapist. This may include something like tracking your moods throughout the day, journaling about your thoughts, going out of your way to be social, or joining in activities that caused you to feel anxious in the past. Your therapist may even suggest for you to try to look at things differently or to learn new skills to use in your everyday life. Therapy focuses on current and past thoughts, feelings, and issues. Both are important, as they may very well be connected in some way. Discussing your challenges and having an open dialogue is the key to finding the solution to help your present and prepare for your future.
Individual Telehealth appointments only! I received my master’s degree from Lesley University in Mental Health Counseling specializing in Music Therapy in 2018. I enjoy my clinical work and value the courage it takes to engage in therapy. I am an outgoing, personable individual, and provide a creative, safe, and welcoming environment for my clients to meet the challenges in life in order to live their best lives. My clients are always eager to do the work in therapy, of course at varying degrees. Therapy is for those who want it and not necessarily those who "need" it. Frankly, I think everyone would benefit from being in therapy, but it would not be successful without any investment on their end. If one is not interested or motivated to change, then the tools and techniques I provide will not be able to help you. I can understand when it is difficult to complete tasks or follow up on recommendations that I will suggest, however, once you start the work you will see a difference. My clients often come to me feeling stuck, unsure of themselves, lacking confidence, and struggling to function in their everyday lives. If you are looking to learn more about yourself and how past and/or current issues are impacting you then I am your person! I am currently working at Fitzgerald Counseling Group and you can reach out to them via their website, phone number, or email, and request you are interested in working with me!
