I have been working with college and graduate students all of my professional career, and am excited and comfortable helping students navigate their social, emotional, psychological and professional challenges. I am an open therapist who believes that the therapeutic process is a collaboration between therapist and patient/client. Those with whom I have worked have described me as warm, empathic and woke.

I specialize in working with clients who are experiencing a multitude of challenges, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, disability/chronic illness, identity exploration, and challenges with self-esteem. This can include family/relationship issues, life transitions (including college/early adulthood), or identity formation. I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, especially women with ADHD. Supporting LGBTQ+ mental health from an intersectional lens is another focus. I also have an interest in working with clients who are exploring immigrant experience, family dynamics, and generational trauma. I previously worked in college counseling (at Wellesley College) and residential life (at Harvard College), so I'm well-attuned to the specific experiences and challenges of college student life! As a relational psychodynamic therapist, I believe that our experiences are shaped by our relationships with ourselves, other people, and the world at large. My work is informed by feminist, queer, disability, and critical race theory. I also integrate narrative therapy, which allows us to reimagine the stories we tell about ourselves and our lives. I am deeply attentive to how identity and marginalization can impact one's experiences and movement through the world. In my work, I strive for a trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive, and socially just practice. I meet clients with curiosity, warmth, and nuance to explore their experiences, relationships, and challenges. My goal is to co-create a welcoming and supportive space in which clients can tell/retell their stories, appreciate their strengths, and work towards their goals

** Telehealth and In-Person appointments.** We all long for our experiences, feelings, and needs to be seen, recognized, and honored. I bring to our work deep respect for your concerns and suffering. I place the therapeutic relationship at the heart of our work together which I approach with curiosity and empathy. I am most interested in what your unique experience is, and I aim to listen deeply on our road toward understanding. A safe-enough space will help us to transform your patterns of experience that interfere with your ability to be compassionate with yourself, to build meaningful relationships, and to work and play creatively, in other words, to live a fulfilling life. I am humbled by the complexity of human existence and feel honored to work with individuals from different racial and cultural backgrounds, sexual and gender identities, as well as spiritual and religious affiliations. In addition to my private practice, I am an Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School (part-time) and supervise psychology interns and psychiatrist fellows. I served as the co-chair of the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Society for Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychology Graduate Student Committee helping young clinicians explore and develop their professional identities.

Therapy with me is a place to slow down, understand what's driving this, and feel some relief. Having difficulty navigating family or relationship issues? Dealing with work stress/burnout? Are you a clinician or healthcare worker managing vicarious trauma? Having difficulty as a parent to teens/young adults? Trying to understand a late life diagnosis of ADHD, autism, or other neurodivergence? Reach out for a free consult and let's talk. I have an extensive background in cognitive behavioral therapy and have over fifteen years of experience working with individuals to help them achieve sustainable change in their lives. The therapeutic relationship is key and collaboration is everything. I have the knowledge and experience but you are the expert in your own life and it's integral that we work together to effect real change.

I'm a MA licensed mental health counselor providing telehealth therapy. I've worked with teens, college students, and young adults in a multitude of capacities throughout my career. My work is relationally based, and I additionally integrate the approaches of Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which are both mind/body modalities. These approaches have been transformational for myself and many clients I have witnessed because they offer an orientation of radical openness and compassionate inquiry about all parts of your experience.

I have a background working in various settings with children, young adults, and families in the child welfare system in CA, in various hospital social work settings here in Boston, and in college mental health. In my therapy work, I employ a strengths-based approach and work to help patients recognize and build upon their own existing strengths, supports, coping skills, and resilience in order to manage during challenging times. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, cooking, and chasing after my dog. Pronouns: She, her, hers. I work especially well with individuals who are accessing therapy for the first time and need a safe space to learn about the process. I am certified in EMDR and can be helpful to those looking to explore past trauma and its impact on their current functioning.

I believe that therapy should be a space where you don't have to perform, explain, or minimize your feelings, no matter your reason for reaching out. As a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I welcome clients with diverse identities and concerns, and strive to create a safe, compassionate environment where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, or trauma/complex PTSD, including survivors of assault/abuse. I also support clients navigating life transitions, identity-related challenges, relationship concerns, emotional dysregulation, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, and academic/workplace challenges. Since there's no one-size-fits-all in healing, our work together will be tailored to your unique needs and a pace that feels safe, supportive, and sustainable for you. This can include processing difficult experiences, building insight, developing practical coping strategies, and fostering self-compassion, resilience, and a stronger sense of self. As a Harvard-trained researcher, my therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based care, integrating cognitive behavioral, dialectical, somatic, psychodynamic, and narrative interventions to help you create lasting, meaningful change. I look forward to supporting you in your journey towards a life that feels more grounded, fulfilling, and authentic.
