Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, dating challenges, or life transitions? You don’t have to navigate it alone. I love working with college students seeking clarity, peace, and confidence—whether you're adjusting to campus life, preparing for the future, or feeling emotionally stuck and alone. Originally from Houston, Texas and now based in Atlanta, I’ve been fully licensed since 2018 and practicing since 2012. My early work focused on adolescents and families affected by substance use, but I found my sweet spot working with young adults navigating anxiety, relationship stress, and identity development. Whether you're facing college anxiety, academic pressure, or relationship concerns, I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can process emotions and grow at your own pace. Therapy with me is relaxed, empowering, and rooted in real-life support. Healing isn’t instant, but it starts with being open, heard, and supported. Let’s take that first step—together.
The majority of my clientele are in undergraduate or graduate programs. I assist clients in working through the stress, anxiety and uncertainty of this pivotal point in life.
I serve all of Texas using telehealth.

I especially enjoy supporting BIPOC, LGBTQ (and trans people in particular), children of immigrants, and international students.
Let me first say, I am so glad you are taking the first step into improving your health. This is often the most difficult one. I have over 17 years of experience working with Children, Adolescents, and Adults diagnosed with ODD, OCD, ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Severe Mood Disorders, Military/Veteran transitions/reintegration, Stress Management, Tobacco Cessation, Weight Management, Chronic Condition/ Disease Management to name a few. Additionally, I am a Certified Case Manager, which means that I can help you to coordinate other healthcare needs you may have to help ensure that all of your healthcare providers are working collaboratively seamless together and in your best interest. I like to use an eclectic approach primarily combining Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, some Solution Focused Therapy, and Positive Psychology. As the client, it is important that you and your goals are always kept in the center of the work we do. Together we will collaborate on the goals you want to work towards that will lead you to the outcome you are striving for. College years are a transition period, whether you enter them right out of high school or later in life after a few years in the work force. As Maya Angelou once said, "Be the rainbow in someone's else's clouds". I would like to be that rainbow for you. I believe everyone has a toolbox of resources that they can reach into but at times we may not know which tool to use and when. Let me help you along your health journey to be even better and stronger than you are today.

If so, you’ve already taken a courageous first step by exploring support. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and Registered Play Therapist, I’m dedicated to guiding you navigate through life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and confidence. You’re doing fine. So why doesn’t it feel like it? Maybe you’re keeping up with school, showing up for your friends, and getting through your days, but underneath it all, you feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. Maybe you overthink everything. You second-guess your decisions. You have a hard time saying no without feeling guilty. Your relationships leave you confused or drained. You keep falling into the same patterns even though you understand what you should do differently. Or maybe you’re going through a major transition and realizing that the person you’ve been becoming doesn’t quite feel like you anymore. That’s the kind of work I love doing. At Inner Axis Therapy, I work with college students and young adults who want more than coping skills and advice. We slow things down and get curious about why you respond the way you do, where those patterns came from, and what you actually want your life and relationships to look like. Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and down-to-earth. You don’t have to come in with a diagnosis, a perfectly explained problem, or even know exactly what you need. We can start with, “Something just doesn’t feel right, and I want to understand why.” My goal isn’t to help you become a version of yourself that simply functions better. It’s to help you develop a stronger sense of who you are, trust yourself more, build healthier relationships, and make choices that feel more aligned with the person you want to become. You’re allowed to be figuring it out. Therapy can be part of that process.

We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. Our Patient Promise: we promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Dr. Aw's primary interest is the intersection between mental and physical health. Dr. Aw’s philosophy is that one does not exist outside the other. Furthermore, depression and anxiety in patients who are also suffering from medical issues can feel significantly worse, and it is his goal to get patients on a holistic road to recovery. An ideal patient for Dr. Aw understands that it takes a team to get them feeling better, and it is a collaboration between the patients themselves and Dr. Aw.

The Mind Parlor is a collaborative counseling practice emphasizing specialized and high quality care. We're not a fan of "one size fits all"... it doesn't work for shoes and it definitely doesn't work for people. We also know your health and well-being are not places on which you want to skimp. This is why we've spent years perfecting our craft and compiling a network of high-caliber specialists to fit any need. We'll match you with the therapist that best fits you. Even if that means setting you up with one of our preferred providers out of house. Bottom line, you deserve the best quality. At The Mind Parlor, we want you to have just that. Throughout life, we are constantly growing, changing, and evolving. Navigating these transitions can bring about uncomfortable feelings or challenge us to learn something new about ourselves. You may be a young adult learning how to live independently, a new parent, trying to start a family, looking for a career change, or just wanting to improve your current relationships. No matter what stage of life you are in, you are brave to look for support and I am glad you’re here. I believe working through and processing difficulties can bring hope, healing, and ultimately growth. I work to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space and to collaborate with clients helping them find their identity, their strengths, their passions and help to understand their value so that they reach their therapeutic goals. Ultimately my hope is that my clients, regardless of age, will reach a level of self-acceptance where they feel empowered and lead fulfilling lives with meaningful relationships.
Hi! My name is Mandy Schramm. I've been working in the mental health field since 2015, but practicing counseling since 2020. I'm currently an LPC at Soluna Mental Health in the Woodlands, TX. I have Master's degrees in both Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, postpartum concerns, ineffective coping skills, poor social supports, and trauma. Most of my clients have struggled with unresolved trauma resulting in mental or behavioral issues. I aim to provide a safe space for those who are struggling to process the root of their issues so that they can adopt healthy coping skills to implement in their daily lives. Your past does not have to define you! Give yourself the opportunity you deserve to grow from your experiences and shape your future.
Sometimes we have moments in our lives were we feel lost in our present and wonder where our confident past self went. We have other moments where we feel pulled in many directions by friends, family, work, and or school. This feeling of being pulled is overwhelming and sometimes brings about guilt. My name is Adenike (Aah-deh-knee-keh). I am a first-generation Nigerian/Haitian, queer, cis woman; my pronouns are she/her. Let’s sit down and talk about life. I will hold a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental space for your unique life experiences, true authentic self, and help guide you through life in a way that feels most comfortable
Whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, or seek help to maintain interpersonal relationships, I commit to helping you reach your goals with compassion, and respect. I put people first, and care less about a diagnosis or label. I strive to bring relief no matter your circumstances.
Hello! I’m a therapist in private practice, and I work best with students and young adults who feel like they’re carrying a lot on the inside while trying to keep up on the outside. Many of the clients who are a great fit for my practice are navigating anxiety, low mood, self-esteem struggles, emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, the impact of past painful experiences, and major life transitions (starting college, changing majors, moving away from home, new relationships). If you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like you “should be doing better” but can’t seem to turn it around, you’re not alone. Students often reach out when they’re: • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly “on edge.” • Stuck in overthinking, perfectionism, or procrastination • Feeling down, numb, unmotivated, or like it’s hard to care about things you used to enjoy • Burned out from juggling school, work, family, or big life changes • Struggling with confidence, self-worth, or a harsh inner critic • Having trouble with relationships, boundaries, or communication • Trying to heal after a painful experience, or coping with grief and loss In our sessions, we’ll slow things down and make sense of what you’re feeling, what’s been happening, and what you want to change. My approach is flexible based on your needs, but I often use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), which helps you notice unhelpful thought patterns, understand how they affect your feelings and choices, and practice new ways of coping that fit your life. We’ll set clear goals, build practical skills you can use between sessions, and we’ll move at a pace that feels safe, especially if you’re working through trauma or loss. My style is warm, straightforward, and collaborative. You don’t need to know what to say or have a “perfect” reason to start therapy. If you’re looking for a space that feels supportive and real, where you can be honest, get tools that help, and feel more like yourself, I’d be glad to connect. We can start with what’s most urgent and go at a pace that feels manageable.
