I work with people who are self-introspective and who want to learn more about who they and who they are becoming. I focus on grief and loss, life transition, anxiety, depression, and past or current trauma.

I'm a millennial therapist mixing healing with humor, honesty & compassion. Judgment-free vibes, deep work, and maybe a meme or playlist too. My approach is person-centered and strength-based, grounded in the belief that every individual holds the capacity for growth and healing. I bring a deep commitment to social justice into the therapy space, recognizing that meaningful healing often requires challenging and dismantling the oppressive systems that impact our lives. In our work together, I aim to create a safe, affirming space where your voice is heard and your resilience is honored.
You aren't broken or damaged, you're a hero who needs help on their quest. I specialize in working with teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, grief, chronic pain, and performance challenges. I help by integrating EMDR, Internal Family Systems, narrative, and strength-based therapies into a collaborative roadmap. In our first sessions, you can expect a thorough assessment, introduction to trauma-focused techniques like EMDR, and co-creation of a safe, strengths-focused environment. My practice is unique because I frame therapy as your hero’s journey, empowering you to harness resilience with evidence-based interventions. I’m Chad Starrak, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Questline Counseling. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy and EMDR, helping clients navigate anxiety, life transitions, burnout, and unresolved trauma. Whether you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, therapy offers a space to rediscover your inner clarity and direction. Each session opens a doorway—an invitation to journey inward, where forgotten truths and hidden strength reside. This isn’t a path to fix what’s broken, but to remember what’s sacred. Together, we’ll listen beneath the surface and follow the threads that lead you home to yourself.
Full Intentions is a therapy and movement practice that works at the intersection of mental health, identity, and the body. Most of the people who find us are carrying more than they talk about stress, anxiety, trauma, burnout, emotional numbness, impulsive patterns, or the pressure to keep it together for everyone else. We don’t rush your healing or ask you to “just think differently.” We help you slow down, understand what your nervous system is holding, and learn how to move with your emotions instead of against them. We work with trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, relationship patterns, life transitions, self-worth, and nervous system dysregulation. Many of our clients are athletes and high performers who were taught to be strong before they were taught to be supported. No matter where you are starting from, you don’t have to do this alone. We’ll help you reconnect to yourself with intention, presence, and care. Reach out and we’ll match you with a clinician who best fits your needs.

You don't have to carry this alone. Together, we will work intentionally to help you navigate important moments in your life. - Maribel

You feel you can't make relationships work. Or you don't feel connected to anyone; nobody understands you. Maybe you feel exhausted because there is always something to deal with and fix, and you feel so much responsibility for making things work -for getting things right. Maybe you're feeling a lot of panic and anxiety, and you don't know exactly why, but you can't relax. Your mind is always racing. There's little enjoyment in your life. Everything feels tedious. Maybe you're even thinking that you can't win. This will never end. You have done everything you can think of, and everything you are supposed to do, and it just doesn't work, no matter how hard you try. Hopefully, now, you are refusing to give up, but refusing to go another minute like this, and willing to reach out for help with someone who knows what you are going through. There is a way out, and you do not have to do it alone. With personal experience and training, I will be by your side to help you make the changes you need to feel safe, supported, and more in control. If any of this sounds like your experience, and you're ready to commit to our work together, please contact me and we can get started right away.

In my practice, I have successfully worked with individuals battling depression, tailoring treatment plans to meet their specific needs. Utilizing a holistic approach, I combine therapy, medication management, and lifestyle modifications to support patients on their journey to recovery. I embarked on a remarkable journey to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), displaying determination and a passion for mental health care. My path to this specialized field began with a bachelor's degree from Western Governors' University. After completing my MSN program, I pursued certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Hello! I’m Dr. Ryne Pulido. I’m a husband, father, and psychologist in Texas. I’m so excited to help folks build lives experienced as worth living and sharing. I started out as a therapist for children, adolescents, and young adults. Initially, “young adult” referred to college students. Then “young adult” expanded to include medical and law school students. And then it expanded to include early career professionals. Now, it has expanded to early career professionals struggling to #adult. Your struggle is real. Many of my clients struggle with intense emotional pain stemming from feelings of unlovability and fear of rejection. Their pain acts like an emotional dictator that commands them to withdraw from friends, family, work, school, hobbies, passions, interests, and other activities that make life worth living. Increasingly distant from their values (who they want to be deep inside their hearts) and goals (what they want to accomplish), they feel directionless and unsure of their best life because they’re so focused on protecting themselves from emotional pain. If this sounds like you, know it doesn’t have to be this way. You deserve a life worth living and sharing. Imagine what it would be like to control your actions (the things you do and say) amidst an emotional storm. What if you could be the person you want to be and move toward your goals just 20% more often? What would your relationships be like? Where would your career be? How much better would your sleep be?! Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) I utilize a modern form of the tried-and-true Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Although ACT involves a radically new approach to happiness, over 1,000 clinical trials have been published in peer-reviewed journals, demonstrating its effectiveness with diverse populations struggling with a wide range of psychological problems. ACT is focused on creating richer, fuller, and more meaningful lives rather than solely symptom reduction. When your life is bigger, the pain is smaller by comparison. ACT is a very active form of therapy. It’s not just talking about your problems and feelings (although there is always space for that). You will learn practical skills to move from struggling to flourishing. We will move through the program step-by-step, learning skills that build on each other. The good news is the skills are easy to learn and effective. You are headed into the unknown. Unfortunately, counseling and therapy is not 100% effective. Although I accept commercial insurance (if you go through Alma) and the Lotus Fund, the risk of committing time, money, effort, and heart to something that doesn’t work out is very real. I also can’t promise that you won’t feel uncomfortable, judged, and misunderstood, but you will have permission to express yourself and stop anything that is uncomfortable. I’ll listen with an open mind and you’re in the driver’s seat. But you are not alone. It’s your journey, but we’re a team—working together to help you become the person you want to be and build the life you want to live and share. All brains matter. I’ve spent my entire professional career working with neurodivergent folks and their families. I have a special place in my heart for ADHDers, autistics, and people with strong personalities. Are you in Texas, prefer virtual care, and ready to get to work? You can contact me by email (admin@rynepulidophd.com) or by calling or texting 512-537-4743. (Note it can take up to 72 hours for me to return a call, email, or text. If you are in a mental health emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest ER). …and if you’re sort of ready that’s cool too. Reach out to me to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation! Need financial help? I offer sliding-scale fee slots via Open Path Collective. These slots are extremely limited, so please get in touch with me before signing up to work with me. I also accept the Lotus Fund via the Asian Mental Health Collective.
As a modern therapist, I take an active and collaborative approach. I’m not just going to focus on the symptoms being presented - I want to understand the root cause behind your struggles and genuinely get to know you as a human. I love working with women who are motivated to grow and have a desire to understand themselves on a deeper level. Through our work together, we’ll unpack your story to understand your barriers and help you cultivate a new level of self-awareness. We’ll explore how you can implement new tools to better navigate your emotions, address relationship challenges, and gain confidence within. I’ll maintain a balance of supporting you and gently challenging you so that you can begin living an intentional and fulfilling life - whatever that looks like to you. My commitment is to not judge you, and to provide a space where you can show up as your authentic self.
The number one complaint I hear from my clients about past experiences with therapy is how impersonal and detached their experience felt. They craved more warmth, and a vested interest from their therapist in their growth — an ideal mixture of sincerity, kindness, advocacy, and accountability. Tailor-made for women, my approach weaves together all of these elements, creating a container that provides powerful and life-changing results. A sense of feeling safe, seen, and understood takes precedence over “fixing things,” since I don’t buy into the belief that any of us are broken to begin with. So, if you’re struggling with things like high anxiety, low-self worth, or simply feeling lost, then you’ve come to the right place. Together, we will work to break past your limiting behaviors and create space for self-compassion, deep emotional healing, and enriching relationships.
I specialize in providing trauma-informed therapy that is tailored to meet the cultural framework of diverse clients, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, women of color, children of immigrants, and survivors of interpersonal trauma (i.e. child abuse, sexual assault, intimate partner violence). As a therapist, I am dedicated to building a therapeutic environment that encourages authenticity, transparency, and compassion. I take a client-oriented approach that centers around my belief that people can take charge of their journey to healing and recovery. I trust that the client is the expert of their own lives, and my role is to consistently empower them to develop toolkits to be able to navigate daily struggles and lived experiences.

My clients tend to feel like they haven’t fully fit, often misunderstood in their environments. The stories we tell ourselves are very important, often they are stories that others have told us or placed on us. I believe that there is power in taking back our story and discovering what aspects you wish to keep or change. I approach therapy in an existential and narrative lens, with somatic and mindfulness influences to create a safe, inviting, and culturally sensitive therapeutic relationship. Some of my clients are discovering who they are, where my role is to give you a safe, inquisitive playground to explore parts of yourself. Other clients understand themselves, but may struggle living their true self in different contexts. Ultimately, I pay close attention to the why underlying your narrative to identify the meaning in what you bring up. Sometimes, these intersections are particular visible in our relationships. I offer couples and family counseling using a transgenerational lens & Gottman Institute techniques for pre-marital counseling. I offer free 20 minute consultation calls to discuss our goodness of fit.
