My approach in therapy focuses on each person's unique stories, strengths, and resilience, from a space of empathy, and concrete tools to move forward. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process that balances spaces of acceptance with change, which is based in cognitive & dialectical behavioral therapy (CBT) and (DBT). I am committed to diverse communities and enjoy working with clients of all racial backgrounds, sexual orientations and gender identities. I believe that therapy should be accessible and affordable, which is why I take insurance including Aetna, Oscar, Oxford and United. Hi! I am currently being credentialed with Blue Cross and Harvard Pilgrim, but the process is not complete yet. I expect to be able to take those insurances in late September. In the meantime, I am seeing people who have Blue Cross or Harvard Pilgrim for $50 a session, roughly the amount of a higher co-pay, until I can accept the insurance. Are you worried, concerned, stressed about school? Is it having an impact on your life? Is adjusting to being away from home for the first time a lot? Are you having a hard time with impending graduation and knowing what to do afterward? Are you looking for someone who can listen to you, create an environment where you can talk about things that are hard in your life, and is able to support you? I do a lot of work with anxiety and PTSD, body acceptance and liberation, life changes and adjustments, queer communities, people in higher education, and support people in relationship and communication challenges of all kinds. I offer a free thirty minute consultation to see if we are a good fit and if I can be helpful to you. For anyone who does not want to use insurance, my current fee for individual therapy is $200 a session. I can provide superbills, which are a way to recoup part or all of what you pay me through your insurance company. I can accept HSA and FSA cards. Please check out my website for much more information about me and how I work. I look forward to hearing from you!

My goal is to create a space that feels safe and supportive enough to make positive change happen. I specialize in eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, OSFED), self-esteem challenges, anxiety disorders, depression, and self-harming behaviors in young adults (18+) and adults and am currently the assistant clinical director of a nationally recognized eating disorder outpatient program. I utilize evidence-based treatment approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). My approach is strengths-based and person-centered, with the belief that therapy is not "one size fits all." We will work as a team to figure out what is most supportive and effective for you. Recovering from disordered eating in a society that encourages it IS possible. If you are ready to take the next step in your recovery, I would love to schedule a phone consultation with you to see if we would be a good fit.
Whether facing in-the-moment or long term concerns, therapy provides a unique and professional third-party perspective. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and PTSD, and I am a proud queer therapist with a deep commitment to supporting LGBTQIA+ clients through both internal struggles and the very real weight of societal pressures. I have worked across a range of settings, including health promotion, Mass General Brigham, and group practice. I draw from an eclectic blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Feminist Therapy—tailoring my approach to what fits you. I hold a Master's in Psychology from Boston College, where I have returned as an adjunct professor of the practice. I bring that same teaching orientation into my work with clients—helping you understand the skills, frameworks, and coping strategies behind what we explore together. My priority is to help you find relief as soon as possible, and to understand the deeper roots of what brought you here in order to sustain feeling better. I view sessions less as a clinical appointment, and more like an honest conversation with someone genuinely in your corner. I'd love to connect—feel free to reach out to schedule a consultation together!
Great to meet you! My philosophy is simple: listen first, treat second. I take time to understand your story, explain how diagnoses and medications work, and ensure every decision is made together. You’ll never feel rushed or dismissed. I value transparency, education, and collaboration in every session. My approach to treatment: What you can expect from our first session Our first session is about getting to know you. We’ll review your current concerns, explore your history, and discuss what you hope to gain from treatment. Most importantly, you’ll be met with patience and respect. This is a space for you to feel heard, understood, and supported as we begin working toward meaningful change together.
