My goal as your therapist is to allow you to express your feelings in a non-judgmental and safe space, as well as provide you with skills to improve your overall quality of life. I work with adolescents, adults, as well as couples and families. Additionally, I specialize working with all aspects of eating disorders from anorexia to binge eating. Many of the students I work with are bright, capable, and hardworking—but still feel overwhelmed, distracted, anxious, or like they’re constantly falling behind. I specialize in working with college students struggling with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and relationship stress. Together we focus on understanding how your brain works, improving emotional regulation, building better habits, and reducing shame or self-criticism. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and practical. I integrate CBT, DBT, ACT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and the Gottman Method for couples. I have over 10 years of experience working with college students and young adults navigating stress, identity, relationships, and life transitions.

I am a PSYPACT certified licensed psychologist and can meet with clients in 42 states for teletherapy - As of December 2025, I will also be offering in-person appointments in Raleigh on Thursdays (9 am-2 pm) and Fridays (9 am-5 pm). In-network with Aetna and BCBS. You may be reaching out for support at this time because you’re feeling stuck. When meeting with my clients for the first time and discussing what brings them to therapy, most share that they have tried everything that they can think of to address their concern. Perhaps they’re used to being able to “figure it out” independently but the current issue feels insurmountable. My approach to therapy is walking alongside you as you explore different parts of yourself, better understand your thoughts and emotions, reflect on where long-standing patterns may have come from, and move towards actions that align with your values. While you are the expert of your own experience, you don’t have to go through this alone. I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, disordered eating/body image, perfectionism, trauma and resilience with close attention to and incorporation of your intersecting identities. I have almost 10 years of experience providing counseling services to adults and young adults. Specifically, I was the embedded psychologist for the Emory School of Medicine, where I worked primarily with medical students. I have a deep understanding of the ways academic stress impacts young adults, particularly in their longing for a sense of control and the impact of work stressors on relationships. I use research supported approaches to address client concerns, while leaning into our therapeutic relationship by building a safe and collaborative environment. I strive to find balance between exploration and empowering you to leave each session with tangible skills and strategies that can help you meet your goals and maintain changes over time. It would be an honor for me to walk alongside you as we explore parts of yourself and trust that we can make meaningful changes together.

Do you ever find yourself overwhelmed by the challenges and circumstances in your life? Have you experienced feelings of loneliness, depression, anxiety, sadness, or a lack of support when you needed someone to confide in? I understand these struggles, and I want you to know that it's perfectly okay to not be okay. I'm here to provide you with the tools and strategies you need to break free from negative thought patterns and self-defeating behaviors. Similar to regular physical check-ups, therapy serves as a preventive measure, equipping you with effective strategies to navigate moments of chaos, uncertainty, and everyday life. Together let's transform emotions, behaviors, and thought patterns for your desired outcomes. I support young adults, college students, and adults particularly those from BIPOC communities, facing depression, anxiety, and life transitions. My aim is to empower you, raise your self-awareness, and break down the barriers of mental health stigma. The first step is daunting yet essential. Therapy isn't weakness; it shows strength and courage to seek support. My priority is a nonjudgmental, safe space where you can freely express yourself. Remember, progress begins with putting one foot in front of the other, and soon enough, you'll be walking towards a brighter future.

I believe in helping my clients find the answers they already have access to. As a therapist, I strive to join with my client to understand their path to success. Ultimately, a major goal is not to tell someone what to do but to help them decide what they want to do and how to get there. I look forward to working with you.

I specialize in overthinking, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome. Clients who come to me often struggle with feeling “enough.". They often feel an imbalance in their lives and are quick to sacrifice self-care for others or in the face of stress. They feel their emotions strongly and sometimes feel controlled by them, leaving them often emotionally and physically drained. My clients are ready to create change in their lives and feel more peace of mind.
