Our time together will be spent figuring the aspects- emotional, intellectual, sensory-based, and behavioral- of life through out your own story. Growing into learning how to listen to yourself so you can trust what it is you know, and what it is you need will be at the core of each session so that the feelings of stress, overwhelm, anxiousness, depression no longer keep you detached from yourself. The tools I use are done with cultural considerations, and by acknowledging the extra burdens social constructs and systemic environments put on you. I start with listening and being a witness to your story. With your consent, I use therapeutic tools to assist you in taking an objective stance in your story, and in offering yourself compassion. Continuing through developing and honing in on how you understand your experience through strengthening the connection between your mind and body. I am also trained in and have used EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) with children, teens, adults of both the neurodiverse (Autism, ADHD, etc.) and neurotypical populations. EMDR is used in session, with your consent, when you feel the need to address larger internal hurdles such as phobias or trauma(s) (also known as PTSD or C-PTSD). All of the work will be done at your pace and with your specific needs in mind. I am an affirming counselor and believe counseling should be for everyone. I understand the systemic pressure that can have you trying to “get it right!” A benefit to you may be my stance on de-stigmatizing mental health by avoiding rigid diagnoses and accepting that there is more than one way to live and thrive in this/your world.  I will be ready when you are. Until then, good luck on your search. My license number is #93296. I am supervised by Stamatis Bogdanos, LPC-S | #64556 in Houston, Tx. If you are under 18 and in need of a resource(s), here is a link to an article that may be able to help you find support:  https://www.teenlife.com/blog/mental-health-resources-for-teens/

Psychologist
Colorado Springs, CO

Dr. Rademan starts treatment with a thorough and detailed inventory of life experiences that could be contributing to current concerns. She also explores body pain and chronic health concerns as those can be impacted by trauma and emotional wounding. Just like with physical health, mental health can be impacted by earlier 'injuries' that flare up later in life. Many people have been in and out of therapy throughout their life and haven't found sustained relief due to not healing the root issue or concern. At the foundation of treatment, Dr. Rademan utilizes a trauma and cognitive focused framework. Trauma is not only major violence or death, but can also be a loss of a relationship, not getting your needs met when you were a child, or ongoing major stressors. Trauma can be described as anything that significantly changed the way you view yourself or the world.

Great to meet you! As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with over 8 years of experience, I am passionate about helping women heal and grow through a holistic, personalized approach. My work integrates experiential techniques, somatic practices, and trauma-informed therapy to help you connect with your mind and body on a deeper level. I specialize in supporting individuals through trauma recovery, utilizing a compassionate and tailored approach that honors each person's unique experience. One of the unique services I offer is Walk & Talk therapy, where we take our sessions outdoors at local parks. This relaxed, natural setting fosters openness and can lead to fresh insights as we talk and move together. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse settings, including residential treatment centers, crisis intervention in hospitals, and providing bilingual services to unaccompanied minors. My background also includes providing inpatient mental health counseling, and I hold certification as a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT), specializing in trauma-informed care for children and families affected by abuse and neglect. With my extensive experience and deep commitment to healing, I’m here to help you on your journey toward transformation and personal growth. A bit about my approach to therapy My work is focused on creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, gain self-awareness, and develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. Through an integrative approach, I help individuals build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and gain new insights into their personal growth journey. Whether addressing anxiety, stress, or life transitions, I am committed to helping clients find balance and empowerment through therapy that combines both experiential and evidence-based techniques. What you can expect from our first session In our first session, you'll experience a safe and supportive space where we can begin exploring your challenges and goals. I'll provide an overview of how therapy works and the techniques we’ll use, including experiential approaches alongside traditional methods. You'll leave with a clearer sense of direction, a better understanding of how we can collaborate to address your needs, and a feeling of trust and empowerment as we begin this journey together.

My passion in counseling centers around helping clients heal from past trauma, while facilitating the rewiring of their nervous systems. I focus on supporting their journey toward feeling open to connection and personal growth. I would be honored to work with you and help you find the path that's going to help you make peace with the past, and write a new story moving forward. Healing from past traumatic experiences is possible, I've seen it for myself, and I fully believe it's possible for you as well. With a BA in Nursing in addition to my MA in counseling, my nursing background greatly influences my approach to counseling. Together we can create the right goals, with the right timeline, that equip and empower you to see your beautiful self in a whole new light, with a sense of agency, and hope for your future. If you’re a college student feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. Many students I work with appear capable and driven on the outside, yet internally feel exhausted, pressured, or unsure they can keep going at the same pace. Constant stress, anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, or self-doubt can quietly build until it starts to affect your mental health, relationships, sleep, or academic performance. I work with college students and young adults who are navigating high expectations, academic pressure, and major life transitions. You may be adjusting to college, questioning your direction, struggling to balance responsibilities, or feeling like you are never doing enough. Therapy can be a place to slow things down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and begin feeling more grounded and in control again. My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you feel better in your day-to-day life. I take time to understand your experiences so we can identify what is contributing to your stress and develop practical tools you can actually use. Together, we work on managing anxiety, reducing overwhelm, strengthening self-esteem, and building healthier ways to cope so you can move forward with greater clarity and confidence. Clients often describe me as calm, approachable, and easy to talk to. I aim to create a space where you do not have to have everything figured out and where you can be honest without fear of judgment. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you are returning with new goals, you will be met with understanding, consistency, and support. Alongside coping skills, we focus on self-reflection and insight to help you understand patterns that may be holding you back and create meaningful, lasting change. If you’re unsure whether therapy is the right next step or want to see if we’re a good fit, you’re welcome to schedule a 15-minute consultation. This gives you a chance to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and decide whether working together feels right for you. Reaching out for support does not mean you are failing. For many students, it is the step that helps them feel steadier, more confident, and better equipped to handle the demands of college life. You deserve support during this chapter, and you do not have to go through it alone.

Courage isn’t about having no fear—it’s about feeling it and walking straight toward it. And let’s be honest, some days courage is just answering the phone, replying to that text, or—YIKES—opening the front door. Maybe you’ve mastered looking “fine” on the outside, while on the inside you’re desperately hoping no one gets close enough to see the real you. I get it. We all want life to be easy, but counseling? Yeah, it’s not always easy. It’s work. It’s showing up. It’s sticking with it when it feels uncomfortable. If you’re still reading this, I’m guessing something in your life feels heavy and you wish it could just magically change. I can’t promise magic—but I can promise to walk beside you every step of the way, helping you find your footing and your balance again.
